Forum ITU TELECOM World. The world is facing many challenges including climate, population and resource issues. Each of these challenges has an impact on our sector, and each can also benefit from informed decisions made by the ICT industry. ITU has long been facilitating vital debate on core issues affecting the ICT sector. This includes key areas such as extending the reach of broadband, underlined by the work of the Broadband Commission, or spectrum for next generation mobile services, a subject which will be high on the agenda at the upcoming WRC (World Radiocommunication Conference) taking place in 2012.
At World 2011, we will examine, analyze and debate these and other major ICT challenges. We will help participants forecast how these could shape the future direction of the industry, and we will help people to plan how the industry could address them.

Thematic sectors.
Exhibitors, delegates and visitors of the Exhibition and Forum will present all sectors of ICT industry: communications, Internet, wireless, satellite, radio, voice and video communication.
